Our Anti-Corruption Training is designed to empower organizations and stakeholders with the knowledge and tools needed to foster ethical business environments through collaboration and integrity-based practices.
As part of its commitment to promoting ethical business practices and fostering a culture of transparency, the UN Global Compact Network Egypt (UNGCNE) has developed a comprehensive suite of anti-corruption trainings and workshops. These capacity-building efforts are a cornerstone of the Business Integrity Seal Initiative and aim to equip companies with the tools, knowledge, and technical guidance necessary to strengthen their internal governance frameworks and effectively combat corruption.
The training program features a structured series of in-person workshops tailored to companies at varying stages of their anti-corruption journey. Delivered by subject-matter experts, these sessions cover key topics such as policy development, risk assessment, compliance mechanisms, internal controls, and corporate transparency. Designed to be highly interactive, the workshops not only provide practical guidance but also create space for peer learning and dialogue, enabling participants to address real-world challenges and receive tailored support. This hands-on approach prepares companies to meet the Seal’s rigorous certification standards while embedding integrity into their organizational culture.
In addition to the workshops, UNGCNE is preparing to launch a specialized e-learning platform. This online training is structured into modular units, offering participants a flexible yet comprehensive learning path. Grounded in the principles of the UNGCNE’s Anti-Corruption Guidebook, the course is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of integrity, compliance, and collective action. It includes theoretical foundations, real-world case studies, and implementation tools, targeting professionals in compliance, legal, ESG, risk, and governance roles, as well as stakeholders from public institutions and civil society.
Recognizing the importance of early awareness, UNGCNE is also launching a youth-focused anti-corruption training program starting in the 2025/2026 academic year. This initiative targets university students and recent graduates, aiming to instill a strong ethical foundation before they enter the workforce. The program introduces youth to the principles of integrity, the risks of corruption, and the importance of ethical decision-making, thereby nurturing a new generation of responsible leaders committed to transparency and fairness.
Together, these trainings reflect UNGCNE’s strategic commitment to advancing the UN Global Compact’s Tenth Principle on anti-corruption and contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 16—promoting peace, justice, and strong institutions. Through a multi-tiered approach that engages both businesses and future leaders, the Network is laying the groundwork for a more ethical and transparent private sector in Egypt.
